Indication:
Cortate is a synthetic corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive properties. It may be prescribed by veterinarians for the management of inflammatory and immune-mediated conditions in dogs and cats.
- Used as hormone replacement therapy to treat adrenal gland dysfunction, such as Addison's disease, where the body does not make enough natural steroids.
- Management of severe allergic reactions, severe asthma, and chronic autoimmune or inflammatory conditions.
