Precautions :
Do not use in puppies less than 4 weeks of age or less than 2lbs of body weight. Prior to initiation of Interceptor® Treatment, dogs should be tested for existing heartworm infections. Infected dogs should be treated to remove adult heartworms and microfilariae prior to initiating treatment.
Do not use in kittens less than 6 weeks of age or less than 1.5lbs body weight. Safety in heartworm-positive, breeding, pregnant cats, lactating queens and breeding tomcats safety has not been established.
