Due to its moisturizing action, it is indicated in conditions characterized by a decrease in lacrimal secretion quantity or quality, such as keratoconjunctivitis Sicca. Also for perioperatoria prophylaxis, in cases where lacrimal secretion is reduced or annulled. As an aid in corneal treatments seeking to decrease or prevent edema and/or improve healing
