Acidurin is used for the treatment of canine and feline urinary tract infections. Acidurin tablets relieves the pain and discomfort dogs and cats suffer due to urinary tract infections.
The acidifiers in Acidurin help dissolve magnesium ammonium phosphate crystals in canine and feline urine, allowing easier bladder flow for your pets.

Indication Urinary tract infections, and acidification of urine in dogs and cats.
Contraindications Administration during pregnancy, as the product may cause foetal acidosis.
Actions Urinary acidifier.
Warnings Do not use in pregnancy; may result in fetal acidosis. Do not use in animals that are hypercalcaemic. Use with caution in concurrent sulphonamide therapy; may increase crystalluria. Use with caution in patients with evidence of myoglobinuria. Use with caution in patients with pulmonary insufficiency or cardiac oedema.
Precautions First Aid If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre.
Dosage and Administration Dogs, cats. 20 mg/kg (1 tablet/5 kg bodyweight) twice daily or as directed by a veterinary surgeon. Exercise caution if used in conjunction with Sulphonamide therapy due to increased danger of crystalluria.
Storage Store below 25°C (air conditioning).
